Thredbo Blues Festival was first launched in 1994 as part of a combined Summer program by the Resort Operator and the many other businesses located in Thredbo. Thredbo Chamber of Commerce operating as Tourism Thredbo manages the successful Blues Festival and also the Jazz Festival in May.
This part of our site retains Artist/band line-ups and photo galleries from festivals since 2006.
The Resort and it’s business community host the festival in a more intimate and personal environment than festivals based on large stage productions. The superb high alpine surroundings and the availability of both public and dine-in performances allow audiences to experience the Blues up close and personal.
